Part of the church family at FaithWay

It's good to see that our church is standing on the Word of God and moving forward for God's Glory. The conservative music and humbleness of the people provided an encouragement to us.

We were thankful to be able to minister in the church by singing in the choir, reporting on the ministries in Peru, and preaching on this particular Sunday. The afternoon potluck fellowship was special as well.

4th of July Tiger Game

On the fourth of July, we were able to spend some family time by going to the Detroit Tigers baseball game.

Jon's brother was honored as one of the veterans out on the baseball field before the start of the game.

To was good to see our children get into the excitement of the game by making posters and cheering.

Everyone was able to enjoy the fireworks show after the game.

In loving memory

Both Jon and Nisha's mothers have died within the last few years. We were so thankful for mothers and grandmothers who demonstrated such love for us.
We were able to pay our respects and remember some great memories as we visited the tombstone of Jon's mother.

Faithway parade

We're so thankful to be sent out of FaithWay Baptist Church as missionaries. The church people have made us feel so welcomed back in the States. We were thrilled to be a part of the 4th of July parade where we were able to pass out tracts and invitations to the VBS outreach.

The VBS boat float won third place in the parade and received a trophy of recognition by the city.
Jon was encouraged to see many faithful ones at the church who have influenced him spiritually since childhood. It's a blessing to be part of a church family.
