Visiting Washington D.C.

Ministering in churches in the area of Washington D.C. has allowed us to visit areas around the capital of the States. The Mall is filled with so many places to visit for free. It never gets old for us to visit each of these places and realize the history and importance of each.

Arlington Cemetery has so many tombstones.
Pictures taken in front of the White House will be remembered.

Churches in Maryland

We were able to minister in a spanish church at Faith Baptist as well as the English service in Maryland. Jon was excited to preach in Spanish once again.

Museum of the Bible

The Museum of the Bible is in Washington D.C. and was an eye opening experience. We are so thankful for the opportunity to see this museum. It lays out the history of the Bible and their translations over the years into so many different languages.

Our girls practice writing verses in the Hebrew language.

Shelves full of Bibles in different languages from around the world.
Shelves full of yellow books that represent the many languages that are still without a complete Bible in their language.

We were able to ride the metro subway to and from the museum for an added experience.
