Matthew's going away party

Matthew spent the last month mentioning how much he will miss things in Peru as everything became "my last time to do this".  From playing basketball with sisters to getting together with friends at the house and celebrating together with the church.
Matthew's going away party was held at our house with many of his friends and family. This was an opportunity for us to break out many of the activities that Matthew enjoys doing with others.

Serving others in ministry

A member of our church, Yenny, is a private school director for children up to kindergarten. Our family was asked to assist in their Father's Day activity. What a great time with activities and family gatherings like three person skiis, potato sack races, obstacle course, sports, etc...

Family involvement in ministry

As Matthew changes the battery on the church clock so that everything goes smoothly and on schedule.
Sunday School class for the adults has been a blessing as Matthew was song leading and Jon was teaching the lessons.

Jon and Matthew sing special music one last time before leaving for the States for Matthew to go to college.

Jon leads the Lord's Supper with Yasser.

Nisha decorates and organized the announcement board.
Matthew plays the piano at the church.
Nathan helps out in giving the announcements in Samuel's absence.
Nisha has been a great teacher to the children in the church.
I'm so thankful to be in the ministry and have a family who is involved.

Pastor Jon with the church youth

Jon assisted in games and Bible study in the Youth at the church. What a blessing to see the church growing and involved together.

Nisha's birthday

Nisha was able to enjoy another birthday celebration in Peru with a family that loves her very much and a church family who is there for her on June 3rd.
It started with the girls making her breakfast in bed and showering with love and attention.
There was lunch at Pizza Hut and recalling of great memories.

The evening was filled with church ladies and others visiting the house for games and fellowship.

Thank you to all who helped make this day a special one for Nisha.
