Family Pictures and pastimes

God is good! It has been a blessing to serve God as missionaries. We miss having our son Matthew with us in our family pictures. He is in the States studying through Maranatha Baptist University Bridge to Campus program to be a school teacher.
Jon's dad (Ray) is sealing the roof of our house to keep it from leaking.
"Kit" is our family cat that is loved especially by Becca and Katie.
Jon introduces more challenging games as a pastime for those who come and visit.
Ray is making Kit the cat his own scratching post.
Rebecca enjoys playing with the church kids.

Judy (Jon's stepmother) visits the hat park.
We took a picture of Peruvian ladies fellowshipping together on the side of the street while they work.

Making Christmas Cookies

Another family tradition during the Christmas season is making sugar cookies or better known as "Flour Wars".

Christmas memories of 2017

Sorry for the delay as some have asked for me to post some of our Christmas memories from 2017. It was a blessing to have Ray (Jon's dad) and Judy (Jon's stepmother) visiting us from the States. We celebrated Christmas in Huancayo with many of those from our church (Iglesia Bautista El Alfarero).

 Nisha enjoys her snowman decorations.

Church teenagers fellowshipping at our house.

Other families came to visit ofter throughout the season.
Katie enjoyed the Christmas break by assembling puzzles with her Grandpa and Nana.
Decorating a family tree in the Michigan colors has become a fun tradition each year.
