Fellowship with church family

One of the favorite past times in Peru is to play soccer together. Getting together with friends and church family for fellowship is a good way to get to know each other better.

Our second rotweiller "Shadow" was sold to a friend and will be missed.

I'm so thankful that our children really enjoy living in Peru. They enjoy seeing the different sights and making friends along the way. 

 Katie has come out and said that she likes Michigan State even though most of the family cheers for Michigan. I think her brother Nathan has had some influence on her.

 The youth group at the church meets every Saturday and enjoys fellowship together.

 Nathan participates in sign language classes on Mondays.

 Our children enjoy the times when their friends visit to play games and fellowship together.

Home-schooling started in September

When Jon returned from the States at the end of August, he brought back materials to start a new school year. We had a back to school party where Nathan played video games and activities with his friends and the girls burned all of their papers from last year in the bomb fire.

 Rebecca started 10th grade this year and enjoys art class.

 Katie also started 10th grade this year and enjoys her history class.

 Nathan was entered into the Abeka academy for his senior year and submits his work online. He is taking Spanish to learn more how to write in Spanish.

Nisha does a great job of organizing and teaching our children throughout the year. 

Jon returns to Peru in time for the Church Anniversary

Jon was welcomed back to Peru as he brought gifts back from the States.

 Our church in Huancayo celebrated their 3rd anniversary on September 1st-3rd. What a blessing to see the church growing and becoming more independent.
