We were thankful to be able to present our ministry in a new church and spend some time with Jon's brother Rory and his family. We were treated to some horseback riding in the fields of TN.
Jon was able to enjoy some time with his younger brother.
We were able also to visit the camp ground where Jon's friend Gloria Ward has been working for over 25 years. What a delight to recall some great memories of when Jon's mom encouraged her while living in Michigan.
We tend to find ways to make the best of traveling the long distances to report to our churches.
We have received many compliments about our children and their involvement in our ministry. We are thankful for what God has been doing in and through our children's lives.
Our children have over 20 cousins to play with while back in the States this furlough. We were thankful for some free time to go to the river together to have some family fun.
No the rope swing didn't break even when Jon used it.
Nathan was seeing if he could catch some of the water snakes that we found in the river.
