Christmas 2015 in Huancayo

We had fun setting up the decorations for Christmas at our house in Huancayo with lights outside, trees, garland, and more.

Our "Michigan" tree has become a favorite for our family.
Nisha was able to find some snowman decorations for her snacks.

Our family misses the snow during the holidays. Snowman decorations around the house helped with the memories.
Putting lights with the garland to be hung in the house.
Using the opportunity of the holidays to share the Gospel message of what Christmas is really about (Birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ). Banners in the streets and parks while we passed out tracts.

Church Christmas party at our house was a special time of great fellowship, games, gift exchanges, etc...

Making Christmas cookie trees to pass out to others.

Our twins thoroughly enjoyed seeing the children's happy faces as each received a toy from our family.

The holidays always bring cheer with the decorations, gifts, and fellowship with family and friends.

Making Christmas sugar cookies has been a family tradition along with the flour fight.

I think Jon lost the flour battle this year.

How did Nisha stay so clean? She brought out the flour and than got out of the way because she knew what was coming.

Not just rolling out the dough, cutting and baking but also the frosting and decorating of each cookie.
We hope our prayers were answered for all our family and friends to have a Merry Christmas and that  this new year will be blessed.
