Visiting Tarma, San Ramon, La Merced, and Villa Rica

One of our survey trips led us through Tarma, San Ramon, and La Merced. It was a blessing to minister and fellowship in some churches. To hear the history of missionaries starting churches and seeing the Peruvians continuing the work.

There's usually a market taking place in the streets out in front of this baptist church each week.
One vender was selling grubs they have here in the jungle for medical purposes.
While traveling we were able to witness many mountains, valleys, and beautiful waterfalls.

We reached the "Central Jungle gold gate" leading to San Ramon.

The girls captured a moment in the long tunnel going through a mountain.

We were able to experience all different types of adventures from crossing swaying bridges, parades, coffee factories, and more.

This animal called "Misha" eats the coffee bean and lets it pass through his system before it is processed for distribution to make coffee. It is one of the most expensive coffee beans in the world.

"Villa Rica" included a trip to visit the Baptist church, the lake, and more coffee demonstrations.

If you dared enough to dip your feet in the lake, the tadpoles would nibble on your feet making it feel like a little electric shock or buzz. Your feet actually come out cleaner.
It was such a nice day that we thought we would take a row boat out and enjoy seeing the birds and water lilies.

Wherever we went in town these big horned beatles were everywhere. The town people called it a plague because the streets were covered with them.
