One of the blessings while traveling on furlough is to expose our girls to historical and educational places. It helps with their home-schooling experiences and gives us discounted prices.
We visited Jamestown Settlement in Virginia and was able to ride a boat ferry across the river as well.
The best part was being able to board the wooden ships that are still active today.
