In October, we were able to report to our supporting church Lighthouse Baptist in Henderson, NV. We had a great time of fellowship with friends during our time there.
Lodging was provided by the Flynn Family in Las Vegas. They have big good hearts for the Lord and for their family. It was great to fellowship with them. They were encouraged to hear our kids say that not all people in Las Vegas are bad.
Our children were able to meet up with their cousin Lee who was working in Las Vegas for a short time.
The Flynn family treated us to the aquarium as well. We walked through a glass tunnel with sharks and other sea creatures swimming all around us. We were able to get up close and personal with the sea animals. Even though Las Vegas has a bad reputation of being "sin city", there are those who are looking to be a different type of light in the area. We were blessed to experience the ministry side of the area.
Please pray with those who are looking to make a difference for Christ in Las Vegas.
