Learning to cook "Lomo Saltado"

The Mendoza Family has been teaching us some of the Peruvian customs. They have taught Nisha how to make "chicha morada" which is a drink made from purple corn. 
 We also made a common dish called "Lomo Saltado" which is a mixture of steak, fries, rice, and fried vegetables. It's one of Jon's favorite Peruvian meals.
