Alicia Newcomer and Hope Lawson

Hope and Alicia came to Andahuaylas for a temporary missions trip lasting over two months. It was such a blessing to host them at our house and see God use them during their time here. They gave music lessons throughout the week, taught in the school, worked at the children's home, and more. The pictures below only reveal some of their talents and doesn't reflect on all that was done while in Peru.
Alicia was a rookie at "chin heads" but picked up on it really fast.
The last single adults activity at our house with Alicia and Hope.
Many sad goodbyes were given here and at the airport as many good relationships were made.
Alicia and hope shared with the church a duo testimony of appreciation of their time in Andahuaylas
Hope leads the choir in a special song.
Here they are playing special music for the offering which was interrupted at the climax so that a second special offering could be taken. Alicia and Hope were able to adapt by jumping back into the song where they left off. I'm sure it will be a story they will share back home.
Hope sings for special music while Alicia accompanies her on the violin.
The single adult activity will not be the same without their bubbly personalities. Looking forward to hearing what God will do in the future with them both.

They blessed the church with a Christian concert on their first week.

They were treated to their favorite dessert and meal on their last day in Andahuaylas.

Max wants to know who is going to take care of the guinee pigs now that Alicia and Hope are gone :)
