Peru is hit with flash flooding and destruction

The recent floods and heavy rainfalls throughout Peru have caused so far, over 100 deaths and leaving nearly 700,000 people homeless. In addition, it has damaged critical infrastructure in communities and cities.  The destruction caused by El NiƱo is costing Peru over $3.1 billion in damages.  Almost three-quarters of those costs are to cover damages to houses, bridges (175) and roads (2,000 km) such as the central highway. Pictured below are just some pictures of the damages. Please pray for those that have been affected.
