Returning to Peru, South America

On December 27th we left Detroit airport early in the morning. It was a long day of traveling to Boston, MA  and Atlanta, GA before traveling on our last plane to Lima, Peru.
We arrived in Lima, Peru on the 28th of December at 12:30am. We praise the Lord for all of our bags to arrive safely and pass inspections without needing to claim anything with extra costs.

We will be staying at EFATA Baptist church in Villa El Salvador while we get needed supplies and paper work done before returning into the mountains to start a new church.
It didn't take long for us to adapt back into Peru with the food and fellowship of friends.

Peru is in the summer time with many of the schools on break and families enjoying vacations. It was a blessing to celebrate the new year with the many fireworks and friends.

Family Christmas in Indiana

We drove up from Orlando, Florida to Indianapolis, Indiana to spend Christmas with family at Jon's sister Renee's house. It was the last time to be all together as a family before returning to Peru.
It was a fun time to get together and share in the activities.

We were able to make our own personal Christmas tree decorations...
 Cookie decorating and eating....
 Watch Christmas movies....
 Play Christmas themed games...
 Win prizes...
It was a blessing to see everyone and share with one another.

Family Vacation Part 2 - Sea World

We took a day to go to Seaworld. It was a beautiful, sunny day and was not crowded at all. We were able to enjoy the rollercoasters, animal shows, Christmas light shows, fireworks, ice skating show, and many other amusements. It was a full day of activities and memories.

Can you spot the dolphins that jumped out of the water? It was amazing to see the dolphins do flips and tricks.

The penguin display was cold but nice to see.

We rode the needle to the top and were able to get a sky view of the city and of the park.

The sealion, otter, and walrus show was entertaining as well.

The walk thru aquarium was really cool to see the sharks and fish swimming right over you.

The live Christmas show telling the birth of our Saviour was given and performed with live animals.
The park at night is filled with Christmas lights and music to add to the fun experience.

The iceskating show was filled with back flips and acrobatic stunts that were backed up with fireworks and lights.

The killer whale show at night was the best of them all. It is amazing to see what these big creatures could do from flips to splashing the crowd.
On the way back to our resort we were able to stop at the world's biggest McDonald's for Nathan. It is four stories high and offers so much more on their menu than any other McDonald's (Pizza, Chicken, etc)
