Church Youth Group Activity at our house

Once again our house has been used to provide a friendly and fun atmosphere for the teens at our church. What a great time of weird and wacky volleyball, crazy and fruity soccer games, and spiritual encouragement.

How many teens can fit into a small minivan? We have tried many times as we offer rides in our vehicle. Seventeen is the record so far.

Angry Birds and the zoo

We had a church family over to our house for some fellowship. One of their children mentioned that he liked "Angry Birds", so Jon decided to turn our living room into an Angry Bird game. With sponges, stuffed animals, and a water balloon sling-shot----Let the Games Begin!

We've enjoyed visiting the zoo with neighbors and part of the church family on different times.

Visitors from Andahuaylas

We've had visitors from Andahuaylas this month. We will miss the Posner Family as they have returned to the States. It was a blessing ministering together in the "Kids Alive" program in Andahuaylas.
Christian is a single Peruvian who is gifted in Music. He lived with us for a little while in Andahuaylas and has been like an adopted son. We've enjoyed getting to know him and his family.

Hannah was a visitor from the States who came to our house from Andahuaylas and desired to see some sights in Lima before returning back home. It was a good reason to go out as a family and enjoy some time together. The water fountain park provides some good memories as they light up the water with music and shows. They even allow you to run through some of them and get wet.

McDonald's tastes so much better after a trip from Andahuaylas.

"Crazy Fruits" youth program

The youth group never knows what kind of games Jon will come up with next. Each Saturday there's an activity providing some great time of fellowship. What a privilege to be a part of a growing ministry.

Pastor Fidel has been a great supporter of each ministry in the church.

EFATA and the Ricker Family

Our first year in Peru was spent receiving Spanish training in a ministry called EFATA. This ministry is in the southern part of Lima called Villa El Salvador. It has been a blessing to see what God is doing in this ministry specifically with the deaf of Peru. We have some friends from this ministry that we still enjoy fellowshipping and getting advice.

We spent some time, during our American Labor Day, to celebrate with the Ricker Family. What a great day of fellowship with food, games, and activities.

Each of the children took a turn with the motion sensor piano. It plays as you waive your hands at it.

Statues and murals of different presidents were at the Mall for pictures.
