Family Vacation Part 1- Discovery Cove

What a blessing to spend family vacation in Orlando, Florida. Jon's brother gifted us a time share for lodging as a few churches gave towards some family time.
We took one day to go to Discovery Cove where we were able to swim with dolphins and snorkel with stingray's and a variety of fish. We were able also to feed birds and monkeys in the park.

Nathan took in the many sights as he snorkeled around.
Rebecca likes giving the peace symbol with her fingers.
Jon enjoyed touching the stingrays and catching the fish.

The highlight of the day was to swim with the dolphins and learn more about them.

Once you enter the park everything is included from the activities, equipment, food, drinks, and snacks.

We had to set up the Christmas Llama in our resort to remind us of Peru.

Trip to Florida in December

From Michigan to Florida in the middle of December. We stopped in Indianapolis to drop off some luggage for someone to bring to us in Peru and to see our son Matthew.
We arrived in Florida to report in a new church, visit with Nisha's Dad, and take a family vacation.
It was good fellowshipping at Temple Baptist with Pastor Krachenfels.

Nathan gets a Driver's License

Our son Nathan met us at Faithway after finishing his first semester of college at Camp CoBeAc's Bridge to Campus program as a Maranatha University Student.
He was able to pass his driving test and complete all the requirements to obtain his driver's license.

We began our trip down south together, enjoying the stops on the way.

From Washington DC to Michigan in December

It was obviously beginning to look a lot like Christmas in December with all the lights, decorations, spirit, family, and snow.
We finished reporting in Albermarle, VA where a snow storm (Diego) was taking place.

We needed to travel to Michigan and had to drive north thru the storm. We praise the Lord for giving us safety.

While in Michigan, we took the time to begin preparing for our return to Peru and giving a final report to our sending church.
