Jon's Dad comes back to Peru

Jon's dad (Ray) arrived in Peru on September 17th. Our family has been looking forward to this visit for a long time. It's the first visit from family since we moved to Andahuaylas. He's already been a blessing to us. Ray has been able to travel with Jon and visit many different locations in Peru. Jon gave him the first work list once he got settled. The list is more than enough to keep him busy if he so desires. Ray has adjusted very quickly in the mountains and has not gotten sick much at all, in spite of eating much of the Peruvian soup and food.

And Dad said that I was too heavy for a horse to carry me?!
Sure Dad, that fish was that big!

This hotel was in the shape of a bus or was it a bus that fell off the mountain and they just made it into a hotel?!
Jon and Ray enjoyed watching the rain storm come into the area from the balcony of their hotel.

Ray said it had been a long time since he rode in the bed of a pick-up truck.

This station-wagon taxi had eleven people in it.

There was a lot of food for Ray. Thankfully, he was willing to share with the others.
