In order to promote camp to many teens in the valley, we decided to have a big activity called "Cola Wars". We divided the youth and single adults into two teams. War was started between Coca-Cola vs Inca Kola. We had battles with a 6 foot big ball and inner-tubes, jousting, knock-out tennis ball, volleyball, and three man skiis, as well as cheering contests to determine the winner. Even though Coke had more points, Inca team won more battles and became the overall winner for this year.
We had roughly 200 teens at the activity. We have heard many great testimonies from those who started coming to the church and attended summer camp because of this activity. Praise the Lord for using this time to share the work of the church. One person said "this was the funnest time I have ever had in my life, and to think it was because it was a Christian activity."
