Saying farewell to Ray and Judy

Saying "good-bye" is never easy especially to family you love dearly. We love serving God on the mission field and love it when family come to be with us as we minister. Ray and Judy have helped us out tremendously in the transition into our new house and ministry in the mountains. Nisha and our children had to say goodbye to them in Huancayo before Jon drove them back to Lima to catch their flight back to the States.

We had time to visit a couple of malls and take in the Christmas decorations beginning to be put up everywhere.
Anybody for a ride in a "Cinderella" carriage? Making wishes in Lima, Peru!

Judy wanted to stay the evening with her new Peruvian friends from the Ladies Conference. They made quite a connection as they shared sewing stories and life adventures.
A special thanks to Janet, who took the day off of work to take us to see the changing of the guards at the president's palace, museums, plaza de Armas, Indian markets for souvenirs, etc... It made for a lasting impression of PerĂº.
What a blessing to see some of the ladies from our church on the coast come to wish safe traveling and say their goodbyes at the airport.
Jon gets to show his appreciation and love to them before they return to the States.
