The ministry of the Church

We've seen God working in hearts lately and rejoice that His name is being glorified. One couple in our church, who recently visited a service and received Christ as their Saviour, had asked for us to share the good news of the Gospel with their family members.
Two of there family accepted Christ and asked to be discipled in their home. When we returned to their house for the second lesson of discipleship, they had two more that wanted to hear the truth of the Scriptures. We took the time to explain a clear presentation of the Gospel and afterward rejoiced together for their decision to accept Christ.
We now having opportunity to disciple two more in the Scriptures.
The preaching of the Scriptures will never return void. God's Word is "quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)
I believe God is still using the preaching and teaching of the scriptures to change lives for His Glory.

Our children have the opportunity to serve in the church in many different ways from teaching the children's classes, song-leading, special music, evangelism, etc...

We were once again invited to a church attenders house to share the Gospel with their family. Each of them admitted their need to believe in Christ alone for their salvation. If the Angels in heaven rejoice over just one sinner who puts their faith in Christ, than what a celebration it must be when six came to Christ at the same time. Praying for this family as we start weekly discipleship and desire for them to grow spiritually.

Please pray for the men of our church as we seek to encourage each other in God's Word.
