Moving into a new church rental

In September of 2016 we were approached by a neighbour of our church for the possibility of renting his large house for the church. We'd been praying that God would allow us to have our own place. We have been meeting in a school building for services and had to transport everything each service. The school director informed us that we would not be able to use the building after the year ends and would need to find a new place since the owner was raising the rent to a price the school could not afford.
After much prayer the church agreed to rent the house across the street from it's current location. It would consist of a big four car garage that could be used for an auditorium, two kitchens, four classrooms, three bathrooms, and a patio area. More space was available but not within our budget as the second floor and third floor are apartments as well as another garage.

This house had been used as an hardware store and as a restaurant in the past.

The day came when we met for the last time in the school building for the morning service and than made our way across the street to be in the new building for the dedication.

We're now in a place of our own but it wasn't furnished. We needed to rent chairs and borrow items until God was able to provide and meet our needs.
The nursery at the church was meeting in a room in the back on the floor.
Much prayer went into the wisdom of transition. There would need to be repairs, materials, and renovations to make it presentable as a church building.

An offering was collected by the church as well as other donators to make it possible to purchase 60 plastic adult chairs and 20 children's chairs along with some plastic tables for the classrooms.

We moved our church sign over to the new building.
