Jamestown Settlement in Virginia

One of the blessings while traveling on furlough is to expose our girls to historical and educational places. It helps with their home-schooling experiences and gives us discounted prices. 

We visited Jamestown Settlement in Virginia and was able to ride a boat ferry across the river as well. 

 The best part was being able to board the wooden ships that are still active today.

 Jon pretending to preach in an old church but it was only his family that was listening.

 The girls tried on the armor while the parents played some games.
