Visiting the Dutch Village in Holland, Michigan

While reporting to churches in the Great Lakes States our family was able to visit the Dutch Village in Holland, Michigan. It was a fun day as a family to visit a different culture and time period.

The village provided many shows, activities, demonstrations, and of course the live animals.

The girls did very well at the dutch shoe skiis.
Wood carving demonstration to make more wooden shoes.
 Learning a Dutch group dance

Wow Katie those are some big wooden shoes to fill.
Maybe Becca can find some your size.

Katie is pictured in an old school house with the student desks.
Duck water pump racing which of course Dad won.

One of the blessings of furlough and traveling is to be able to see many different sights and get to spend time together as a family.
