Thanksgiving Service of Churches in the Mantaro Valley

Our church had the privilege of arranging and organizing the "Thanksgiving Service" for all the Baptist  churches in our valley. What a blessing to see all in our church use their gifts to make this service one that glorified God. We invited Pastor Joel and an intern to be the special speaker. Each church practiced and provided special music as well as information about their church. We were able to put a powerpoint presentation together to show what each church was thankful for and of what God did in the year of 2015. Each church also shared their prayer requests or vision for the year 2016.
Kyle "the intern" provided special trumpet music.

Pastor Joel provided a great sermon to challenge and encourage the churches.

Our church served the food and drinks, ...

 provided decorations, ...
took care of the cleaning and the set-up and take-down, ...
and gift bags for everyone. Nisha was busy this week making over 300 cookie bags.

I believe that this service provided an excellent opportunity for all who attend our church to serve and build unity amongst us.

The next day Pastor Samuel and Jon were able to show the special guests some of what our valley offers.

They stayed some extra days to assist in our church service.

A special thank you to all who were involved in the "Thanksgiving Service"
