Traveling to Family Camp in Trujillo

How exciting to hear that our church of 43 has 40 people going to Family Camp in Trujillo. We're praying for Spiritual Growth, Health & Safety, stronger families, and more Unity of our church.
This trip will be eight hours from Huancayo to Lima and than nine hours from Lima to Trujillo. Our family went in our van to take extra supplies for some and to save money. This also provided opportunities to stop and enjoy the sights.

We arrived in Lima safely without any problems and immediately went to a Chili's restaurant to enjoy a piece of the States.
We waited in Lima for our church group to assist in the changing of their bus for the second leg of the trip from Lima to Trujillo.

It's amazing sometimes to see how the Peruvians load their vehicles and travel.
Some of the Peruvians in our group have never seen the Pacific Ocean and are looking forward to going to visit the beach.
The coast provides so much more cities and modern things that are not available in the mountains.
Driving past many different ruin sights.
